A study commissioned by the British Government says that a human fetus does not feel pain before 24 weeks. This is a set back for anti-choice groups trying to place restrictions on abortion in the UK. This is also a confirmation of previous studies indicating that the fetus does not have the ability to feel pain and is not aware prior to 24 weeks.
