Spend $200 to meet Sarah Palin on 9/11

How much money are you making this 9/11? Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck are probably earning a lot more. Tickets for their special show in Alaska (which I am guessing are still available, because most of the 300 people in Alaska are surely sick of Sarah Palin, right?) are on sale for between $73 and $225.

To be fair, the $225 tickets include a "meet & greet." The most expensive ticket without the "meet & greet" is $130, which means that meeting Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck is worth precisely $95, according to the Free Market.

You may think a weeping scam artist and a failed stunt candidate "commemorating" an awful, tragic event that has nothing to do with them is annoying enough, even before it involves ripping off marks, but you have probably "forgotten" how you felt that day, before you had ever even heard of either of these two depraved grifters.

Outstanding - if anyone can defend this do your best because i do not see how making a buck out this anniversary is in any way defensible...

you forget conservatives have different standards for themselves than they do for others, they will find a way to not only justify it but claim anyone disgusted by the notion is doing the work of the terrorists.

Spend $200 dollars to meet Sarah Palin on 9/11? Nah, I don't think so. They would have to pay me and the cost to do so would be much higher than $200. Punishing myself is worth much more than a measly $200.

I think Palin will use this event to announce she is running for President in 2012

Are you kidding us? This is a joke, right? I don't believe she will. The GOP will definitely not gain the Senate and House majority come November election if she does, which goes against their objective.

    Ann,

I hope you and everyone else (including myself) that believe Sarah Palin can't win an election or think that she will some how be a detriment to the GOP are registered voters...it's the only way we will stop the insanity.

    M J Sass,

No worry here, I am definitely a registered voter and will be voting in November and in 2012, unless circumstances due to no fault of my own prevents me from doing so.

You could pay me, I am sure she would be slightly unpleasant, but I could use $200.

Palin could pay me $200 to meet. I'd offer her five minutes of my attention to make her case and feel free to walk away with the $200 at three, figuring it was owed to her to quit before the full five was up.

What they do that day is their business.  Let those who want to pay them, do so.  It's not mandatory for every one after all.   You better believe many people made a buck out of this event over the years.

I am quite sure there are - however I refuse to believe any of them are as nearly as holier than though than these two flaming hypocrites....

Well, Soph, I finally agree with you. It's not so much the 9-11 gig, but the fact that people would actually pay to meet her? Can't believe the audacity of this lady that she would think anyone would pay $250 to shake her little hand!

I wouldn't walk across the street to meet or listen to either of these, errr, people.

I remember how I felt that day, I never turned the tv on in the mornings, for some reason I did 9/11/01, just in time to see the second plane hit.

As a native of NY State, I was wondering what the hell was going on...I spent the entire day glued to my tv and on the phone with my mother...who still lives in NYS.

To think of these two doing anything on 9/11 to make money makes me ill...what next 12/25???
