Hannity And Liz Cheney Attack Obama For Speaking Too Highly Of America

If ever there was proof that President Obama will be attacked on Fox no matter what he says, it was this segment in which Sean Hannity and Liz Cheney whined that Obama spoke too highly of the United States’ place in the world. You may recall these are the same two who have been complainingfor years about Obama “apologizing” for America and questioning his patriotism.

But last night, our two hatriots were up in arms (figuratively, of course, because neither of them ever suited up and actually served in the military) over President Obama’s statement in the State of the Union, “Anyone who tells you otherwise, anyone who tells you that America is in decline or that our influence has waned doesn’t know what they’re talking about. America remains the one indispensable nation in world affairs and as long as I’m president, I intend to keep it that way.”

Only on Fox News would that be the grounds for an entire segment attacking a president. And only on Fox News would this happen from the same folks who regularly question that same president’s patriotism.

Hannity played the clip from Obama’s State of the Union and sneered, “I don’t know what’s worse here,” presumably referring to world affairs and Obama’s comment.

Cheney agreed. She said, “To have the president stand up in the State of the Union and act as though our prestige is at an all-time high – it isn’t the first time he’s been wrong but when you see that kind of naivete combined with that arrogance, that’s very concerning.”

ODS: Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't . Fox News commentators don't have to make any logical or syntactical sense, as long as they are being critical of the POTUS.

TV commentators are the real opiate of the masses. How funny that ignorance is now a product to sell and profit from.

Let the buyer (watcher) beware.

When Obama proclaims "up is up" then Faux News MUST proclaim that "up is down."

The lunatics are really attempting to run the asylum. Can't let that happen, just can't!
