The second thing is to provide pre-natal care. This greatly reduces future medical problems and resultant costs. Thirdly, is to boost the WIC program as well as free or reduced cost lunches in school. The lack of proper nutrition reduces learning and increases the potential involving law enforcement later in life. Fourth-increase the value status of learning and fund science classrooms. This won't happen as it reduces the control of the so-called 'elites'. This is the reason why US general public education has shifted to mindless baby-sitting. As Bush 1 said as he signed legislation; "We've got to be able to compete with China". Teachers are being daemonized for directed elements outside their control. Larger class sizes and more stupid bureaucratic square filling means less time to teach.]

Categorically wrong in every way. Rick Santorum and conservative religious zealots don't believe in their religions. They don't practice the teachings of their book. They practice the teachings of their church. They practice the traditions passed down over time from the institutions that have used their respective religious texts to benefit themselves and maximize their own personal influence. Such is the way of conservatism. Conservatism is a philosophy in which one submits oneself to an authority figure - in their case, their preachers/pastors/priests, and whatever way those individuals choose to interpret their religious Dogma.

There is an absolute logical breakdown when a conservative claims to be of a party of individual liberty, because that conflicts with their ideology of submission to authority. The Republican party claims to be the party of individual liberties because it sounds good semantically, but in practice, it's patently and observably untrue.

To be a CHRISTIAN, which is to say, a follower of Jesus, one would have to apply the notions of forgiving ones enemies and loving them, respecting them, not flaunting their religious beliefs or adhering to the principles of a strong, organized Church, sharing your wealth with others and not seeking to have greatly more than others. To be a Christian, you absolutely MUST be a Liberal.

Santorum and the rest of right wing America are unaware of this fact, obviously, but they are not Christians, and do not follow the teachings of Jesus whatsoever. They follow a church, using the name of Jesus but not following his teachings either, and are respected as they are a centralized authority on the matter. They believe in the ideas of the Old Testament of the Bible. Rick Santorum, the Southern Baptists, etc., are all actually Jewish, and by saying so, I mean no offense to Jews. But they simply rely on a church which is simply using a slightly more modernized version of Judaism.

Rick Santorum is a complete and utter embarrassment to our country on many, many levels, but the fact that he and other so called Christians claim to be so without following any of the principles taught by the guy their religion is supposed to be named after, and then goes about chastising others for not following his system... well, I'm an Atheist, but I can assure you all that there's a special spot in Hell for the likes of Santorum and Gingrich and Franklin Graham and Pat Robertson and all of these other liars-for-profit.
