Yesterday, Fischer was reading from Numbers 21 in which Israelites wandering in the desert began to complain because there was no food or water. In response, God sent venomous snakes to attack them, prompting the people to repent and turn to Moses, begging him to ask God to stop the attacks.

ischer then explained that the meaning of this passage is that the President of the United States must be an "intercessor for his people" and that voters should elect a president based on who they believe is best suited to praying on behalf of the nation, as this the most important part of the President's job

Geez, those were the good old days, when God would beset the self-righteous with vipers, locusts, plagues, and turn them into pillars of salt. The POTUS we have now is religious enough for me. This Fischer asshat needs to gather his followers and go wander around Death Valley for a few decades. C'ya Teavangelicals!

Well it seems as if the devil has loosed his own version of this on America, and it's people. The snakes are the GOP/TP'ers and they are killing the USA.
I'm praying to God that He open the eyes of the people so that they can see the poisonous ones and vote them out !!! Vote out the serpents of the GOP/TP !!!
We don't need a false preacher in the Whitehouse, we already have a Christian there !!!
Pray for President Obama that he might be able to overcome the rampant evil that seeks to destroy him and this nation !!!! The GOP/TP'ers !!!
Dear God. Please Lord guide President Obama safely through the evil that is being place in front of him by the servants of the devil. Those who claim to serve you, but obviously work for our enemy. Help our President to see the light of your Son Jesus Christ and to walk with Him and lead us in the manner He would have him lead us.
Lord please also forgive us and lead us away from the love of wealth, power, sex, war, greed, and all the other things that keep us from serving you. Help those in the congress to stop the bickering and to do what is right for the many instead of the few. Lord watch over our soldiers and those who risk life and limb for us to be free. Please God let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In Your Holy Name we pray Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

And our Intercessor is Jesus. That was the whole point of the exercise 2,000 years ago.
Fischer doesn't have a clue about Christianity.

Wow. You would think while the freedom lovers are so busy trying to edit all the civil rights and freedoms that they don't like out of that merely a suggestion not meant to trump biblical law document, the Constitution, they would have noticed it didn't contain "intercessor before God to prevent plagues and other retaliation for complaints" under presidential responsibilities.
