A recent spate of particularly nasty trollish activity in the UK has led to people being incarcerated at Her Majesty's Pleasure. We had the chap who made racist tweets when a well loved footballer had a heart attack on the pitch. We have had the chap who trolled the families of dead children - that was really unpleasant. Someone played nasty with a politician - off he goes. So tell me does being a troll merit prision time? Does freedom of speech trump individual rights to peace of mind? Where is the line and how it is drawn? Racism? Death wishing? Threats? Incitement to hatred?
