On her show Wednesday night, MSNBC host Rachel Maddow reported that Mitt Romney had responded to being booed by the NAACP by telling them to vote for President Barack Obama if they wanted handouts.

“Remind them of this: If they want more stuff from government, tell them to go vote for the other guy—more free stuff,” Romney reportedly said at a fundraiser in Hamilton, Montana. “But don’t forget, nothing is really free.”
