The last couple of days has been a fascinating insight into the seeding habits of the vine.  As the top seeds has gone hinky and nothing is sticking we are literally seeing everything that is seeded on the vine.  Now for me I seed between 4 and 10 articles a day.  I seed things I find interesting, some things that I know will make people laugh and some things that I know will get the blood boiling.  I try not to do multiple articles from one site (maybe I do 2, but no more than that) and I try to offer a range of topics and perspectives that I think will capture your interest.  I love it.  And if I can expose some wing nut in at the same time?  Fantastic! 

But is seems that some deep mine one particular website and fling up everything they can.  Or seed things that only recently seeded by another viner.  On the other hand people seed wide and amazingly bizarre things that in the normal order of things never see the front page.  I mean forget politics for a minute, I had a great time today clicking on links for the most amazing things, and quite frankly, for some very boring things alsoJ

So why do you seed?  Volume, debate, special interest?  What is your motivator?
