Speaking on Fox News Sunday this morning, Obama campaign strategist Robert Gibbsexplained that the Obama campaign should not take any lectures from Mitt Romney over the “tone” of the campaign because the Republican candidate questions whether the president “believes in America” and welcomes support from “birther-in-chief, right-wing nutjob Donald Trump.
Host Chris Wallace asked Gibbs whether the recent controversial “chains” remark from VPJoe Biden was “playing the race card.”
Gibbs accused Wallace of being unfair and then proceeded to defend Biden’s remarks as a response to the Republican use of the word “unshackling.”
