Everyone who has ever heard a Teabagger speak will recall ubiquitous phrases like “moochers,” “freeloaders,” “welfare state,” “personal responsibility,” and yes, “fiscal responsibility.” Right Wingnuts in Congress are well-known for their rants, so who can forget when the likes of Dick Armey and Michelle Bachmann blamed blacks and other minorities for the housing financial crisis. After all, it’s not like bankers were dishonest in the disclosure of the particulars of their sub-prime loans; it was “those people” who took out mortgages that they could not afford.
Even Mitt Romney joined in the race-baiting rhetoric, ‘cause the good Lord knows that if “those people” had a teabagging bone in them, they’d pay what they owe and learn not to stiff their way through life. Apparently, Teabaggers in Tennessee did not get the memo on acceptable Teabagger behavior. Of course, it’s quite ok for a Teabagger to refer to racial minorities as “free-loaders” and “welfare Queens” even as said Teabagger cashes their own welfare check – no one can prove it after all. It’s quite another cup of tea, however, for Teabaggers to freeload publicly, while citing financial difficulty like “those people” have the tendency to do.
