After a lifetime of homophobic abuse and harassment I thought I was no longer caught off guard by the levels fundaloons will go to in their quest to ostracize LGBT's.

I stand corrected.

The BISD continuing education program has been offering an adult cosmetology program over at the Taylor Career and Technology Center for years. Since 2009, that program has been led by Cequada Clark. Now don’t tell Principal Thomas Amons, but men are also admitted.

Shhh!

When 22-year-old Kwmane Gray  (a man!) tried to enroll in the program, it was hardly shocking. But Principal Amons was shaken to his very cold, intolerant core. Gray, you see, was a wee bit flamboyant for the masculine Mr. Amons. So much so, that Amons decided to take action.

If you can’t rid a cosmetology program of “gay-seeming” men, you can just get rid of the program. And that is what Amons, with BISD’s apparent blessing, did.
