Unmasking Reddit’s Violentacrez, The Biggest Troll on the Web
Seems the man is a real arsehole, with a nasty bullying and troll persona that made a whole load of people really unhappy. I was going to seed this earlier with a 'Yee Hah, serves the bastard right' kinda of attitude, but then I got to thinking. Firstly, some on the right think I am a troll, which I always find funny in a see you one and raise it kind of way, but what if they wanted to hunt me down? Secondly, what is said on line stays on line. Right? On the other hand if anyone wanted to track me down IRL I am what I am, I have nothing to hide and quite frankly I am rather boring, and more importantly if I wanted to be a nasty troll I should always think that maybe someone would track me down and expose me. What is said on line stays on line to a certain extent. But do you have a right to anonymity when you constantly push societal norms in any community, on-line on IRL?
