Speaker of the House John Boehner said today President Obama‘s election “changes” his promise to repeal Obamacare, and he now accepts that “Obamacare is the law of the land.” That is, until the Tea Party forced the Speaker to retract his comments, made in an interview with ABC News.

The interview was published about 5:00 PM ET. At 5:50 PM, Speaker Boehner said viaTwitter, “ObamaCare is law of the land, but it is raising costs & threatening jobs. Our goal has been, and will remain, #fullrepeal.”
