Anti Obama Bumper Sticker Angers Veteran Owner Vehicle Pulls Out Gun Holds It To Veterans Head
A disagreement almost turned deadly after one man pulled a gun on another in a fight over an anti-Obama bumper sticker.
Albuquerque Police arrested 43-year-old Chris Williams on Nov. 30 after they say he held a gun to the head of an unarmed 62-year-old man because the man told him he didn't like an anti-Obama bumper sticker on his truck.
Both are military veterans. Police lapel video of the end of the incident was released this week. The two didn't know each other, but the victim -- a Vietnam veteran -- said he wanted to let Williams know that the sticker -- which essentially said America made a big mistake re-electing President Obama -- offended him.
"Why would a vet, or an American citizen, want to put that stuff on their truck?!" the victim told police. He said he told Williams he should be ashamed of himself.
Williams said he told the man to "get out of his face" and claims the victim ignored him and the two began to argue.
