On Fox News Sunday, political commentator and Daily Beast columnist Kirsten Powers told host Chris Wallace that she believes PresidentObama “will basically get everything he wants” in the fiscal cliff negotiations and “Republicans will be left with nothing.”

Asked if the president’s victory will “look a little different” when it comes time to negotiate the debt ceiling increase, Powers answered that she didn’t think Republicans would be willing to “do what they did last time with the debt ceiling, which ultimately caused us to have a downgrade of our economy.” According to Powers, GOP threats over the debt ceiling are “a bit of bluffing.”
