I have just had to take five minutes away from a very busy day to ask a very seriously stupid question.  What is the funniest or weirdest work place injury you have had or heard about? I kid you not when I say that this morning while working on some data I managed to cut myself on a pen lid.  A long and deep scratch along my cheek and neck. It bled for fifteen minutes.  How in the world I managed to pull that one off,  I have no idea.  But I look like I could be an East End gangster LOL 

Who knew a plastic pen lid of the variety pictured could inflict such damage with an innocent movement to tuck my hair behind my ear.  Who knew that I should have been given safety instruction and advice on how best to hold a pen lid in my hand while working to stop serious injury occurring!!! 

Anyway know I have got over the shock of injuring myself on a pen lid…. Can you beat it for plain stupidity?
